Best walleye sandwich I have ever had.  Fresh, not frozen and pan-seared, served with a house-made tartar that was simple and delicious. Friendly top-notch service from Barb as well.  Don't miss this gem on Scenic!

I went there for the first time last week for the all you can eat taco's and they weren't very good.  The taco shells weren't pre-warmed before they filled them so they weren't crispy.  The meat had no Mexican seasoning whatsoever and they were cheap with the toppings.  The lettuce was warm and wilted.  I was hoping for more authentic Mexican tacos, these were not....As I looked at other peoples' food it looked liked decent American fare and a reasonable price. I will return since I live in the area.  Our server was very pleasant and attentive.  Great views out the back windows and deck area!  This place is one of the better priced restaurants on the Scenic Drive,  most of the other places are what us locals call, tourist prices.....so as a local I was glad to find a reasonable place to eat without having to drive to Duluth or Two Harbors...I will go back,  but not for taco's.....
