    rreopened under new management.   Steaks,  salads, and sandwiches are delicious.  Appetizers are good and portions are generous.
    full drink menu and a nice wine and beer selection.  Highly reccomend!

    Server was sweet, but we could tell she was a novice.  Food was very "middle-America".  A bit old fashioned, but tastey.  Nothing surprising, but nothing bad.  

    Place shows wear; I love old architecture and retro styling, but it looks a bit warn, rather than well kept.

    Emmitt House is now closed.
    It has now reopened under new management. It is okay but the food quality is not as good as when it originally opened. Service is okay but very slow.
