Used to frequent about once a week for lunch and a pool game...under new owenership, if you order a soda, they want they money right now...ummm, can you give me a minute so I can order my food too? My husband and I went the other night, security told him to take off his wallet chain. Okay, no problem. Went in to find men with wallet chains. Okay, maybe they arrived before the doorman. Watched additional men come in with wallet chains...hmmmm.
Once again, as soon as we ordered our drinks, she asked for our cash. Told her we were eating. She served us our food. 5 minutes later she said we would need to move tables. That would have been nice to know before we started eating.
It's definitely not Ernie's, I won't be back..such a shame as their food was always good.

Drink prices are ok, but service can be slow on a busy night.  The staff's generally friendly--you won't get any attitude from the bouncers, and the bartenders are fairly attentive and remember your orders.  This is a good place to chew the fat loudly with friends, and once in a while the place actually gets a good ratio of girls to guys.  There's nothing that really makes this place stand out, but it's a good place to start or end your pub crawl.

-1 star for the insufferable Karaoke (especially since they had it on a Saturday night), and the weird gravel/mud-filled parking lot when it rains.

Ernie's is a great place to go to hang out with friends or catch a game. They have a great atmosphere, and even though they are almost always packed on weekends, service is quick and polite.

It's a bar we used to go to often that is pretty good. We like the music but sometimes it can be a bit repetitive. The service can be better, the waitresses can pass by you a lot and never once stop to ask if you need something unless you are sitting a table. If you are sitting against the wall by the tv's and/or the windows you have to sometimes go to the bar yourself.

This bar is good because they have a patio. I'm really not a huge fan of karyoke but they actually get some pretty good people up there. The bartenders and waitstaff are courteous.

Sports bars and karaoke are wasted on me, because I'm not into either of those things. This place is alright, though, but it has a bro bar vibe.

There's an outdoor patio in the back, a couple of pool tables and a jukebox. The waitress wear cute, tiny outfits, but to quote Vince Vaughn's character Raji from "Be Cool", "Nice ass won't get you through your whole life. Once you turn thirty you better have a personality."

They were training bouncers and they were pretty nice, but our waitress had a stank attitude. One of the girls in the group I was with asked if they sold "Old E" and the look on the waitress' face was priceless. Hey, even I was thinking, "Wait. Are there any bars that sell Old E?" This is also a girl that said she couldn't the alcohol in her Bay Breeze. Nope, I couldn't taste it, but I can attest that there was alcohol in the drink.

Oh, so I asked if there was anyway I could get on of the PLASTIC hurricane glasses with the Ernie's name on it. The stank waitress was like, "No." I told her I was from LA and I really wanted it. (I didn't REALLY want it, but I just wanted to see if I could get it.) She was just blank. Nothing.

I ordered catfish and hush puppies. From a sports bar. In Texas. Not bad, though. Not too greasy.

I had a few laughs and got really silly. This wasn't really my scene, but it was fun. My sister even got up and sang the Fergie song, "Big Girls Don't Cry."
