Esc Seafood

This is the best place in the Semmes area for fresh seafood.  If it's not fresh, they don't have it.  It's a real seafood market and you can talk to them and find out exactly what you're getting.  They also fry up a lot of seafood and you can get take out dinner plates with sides.  My favorite is the fried shrimp po-boy.
They have gumbo also but it's a little unusual.  It's a creole gumbo with all manner of seafood that almost tastes asian-influenced.  I'm a pretty harsh gumbo critic though.
For people like me that won't settle for less than fresh seafood, ESC is the place to go.
