After learning that this business had replaced my beloved El Taco Burger, I decided to try it out. To be frank, the food is subpar. The tacos were okay; a little dry. The fries were also okay, but I received very few of them. The biggest insult were the chicken nuggets--burnt, mashed little pieces of crap that I wouldn't even feed to my dog. After somehow stomaching my meal I went to pay... $11! I checked the menu and as it turns out chicken nuggets are $4! $4 for burnt little pieces of crap. Yeah, don't go here, there are plenty of better Mexican restaurants in town.
Review Source:I just came from this restaurant and was very disappointed with their steak burrito. Â The meat was burnt dry, beef jerky would have been better. Â I mentioned this to the cashier and they did nothing about it. Â The prices are good, their service is fast and I have not tried other items on their menu, hence the two stars. Â Apparently my review was removed, does yelp allow buyouts?
Review Source:So I moved from San Francisco to Livingston about a year and a half ago. My family and I love mexican food, and we have been looking for a place to really call our own. We've tried burrito trucks in town, and nearby and they are pretty good. We've tried other local mexican restaurants and likewise 'doable". When my friend gave me a tip to try Evi's on D Street, my wife and I were sold. The food is soo good. Evi's is hands down the best Mexican restaurant in town; Not only are the prices reasonable, and the location easy to find, but get this - THEY DELIVER! I love delivery service. Their menu says delivery with a purchase of 25 bucks, but its well worth it. Soo.. as we speak guess what is at my front door - yeup Evi's. Time to eat!
