I walked past this place with some dudes one time during a weekend downtown bar-hop. We saw a bunch of ladies, a pool table and a FOOSBALL TABLE! So, we went in. That was a bad idea. Since Fast Eddies is located about as far into the northeast corner of downtown as one can get without crossing into the "University District". That said, I've ended up here a few times at the end of a bar crawl that headed in that direction.

It's almost always packed. Maybe because it's the closest downtown bar to Gonzaga. Because of that, it's full of young college kids and sleazy older guys.

The beer selection is horrible and I don't think they care, like I said, it's always packed so why should they?

There is this wheel you can spin on your birthday and you can win money that has to be spent at the bar. Because of this it's a popular place for groups of wasted people out celebrating a 21st birthday.

The foosball table has been broken  every time I've been there.

The pool table works, but if it's packed good luck finding the room to take a shot.

There are some outrageously enormous tables (like, they could seat 20 if laid out well but instead they seat six). If you go on a weekend, good luck finding a place to sit. You better be ready to play a sardine.

One time a drunk dude sucker punched my friend, who is about as unintimidating a man as possible, in the face for absolutely no reason. These are the kind of people who go to Fast Eddies. On the bright side, the bar staff (and the patrons) made sure the assailant was removed from the premises within seconds.

Fast Eddies reminds me of a bar the people from Jersey Shore would go, if they weren't trying to go out dancing.

I think I have a red nose from coming to Fast Eddie's!

This place is totally the locals hang out. We came here for about a week straight and it was never a dull evening. Place has a few hot waitresses that frequent here even when they are not working.
Overall, beer selection was good, food selection and quality was good, prices were average and the crowd was always having fun!

    Fast Eddies ROCKS!!!

Fun on any night! Bring a group of your favorite 21+ friends and see where the night takes you! If you have a birthday in the group make sure that you spin the wheel! Staff is friendly, as you would expect, and the beer is cold! Great starting or ending point for any night with lots of potential within a block!

The name drew me in and the sign out front "Best Burger in Spokane" sealed the deal.  I figured if I went here and had a burger then there would be no purpose in going any place else for a burger in Spokane right?  I had an ice cold beer in an ice cold glass and it was so good.  I ordered the Blue Cheese Burger without bacon.  It wasn't the best burger I've ever had but it was very good.  No complaints.  The server was very nice and smiled and the prices reasonable.  I will be going back!

I am usually the easiest to impress and rarely complain about an establishment, especially a BAR!  I don't have high expectations of food and am just not picky but when you don't feel welcome, you just don't feel welcome!    I will give a thumbs up to the Music choices, the beer choices were OK and the food was decent.

I'm sure this place is great for the weekend crowd and will be great with you if you are between the ages of 21-28 or are a local.  Great music, plenty of TV's for watching a game, regular bar food and a decent selection of brews.

I guess I was expecting a different atmosphere.  Being from the East Coast I kept my hours fairly early to keep on my time schedule.  I went to this place twice to give it the benefit of the doubt but I have to say that even on day 2 with a completely different staff, I did not feel welcome nor did I feel like the staff even cared if anyone was there other than the people they knew or were friends with.

Day one: The local customers for Sunday Funday seemed like a great group and your local bar crowd, exactly what you would expect.  The most excitement on this day was from the locals and the fact that one of the kids found that the entire bar is filled with chewed bubble gum underneath it.  It was a funny find, horrifying and more horrifying that the girl behind the bar said she wasn't going to take care of cleaning it.

Day two:  Two new people working the bar and floor and for the hour I was there I have to say that I don't think they cared if anyone was there, minus the two boys at the other end of the bar that all of their attention was on.  The biggest excitement for this night was the young birthday girl that got to spin the big wheel.  She and her friends were all excited for her, heck even I was excited for her.  The bartender had walked off and the waitress tending to them while they spun that wheel was just kind of ho-hum.  No excitement, no clapping, woo-hooing or even a congratulations.  Just a ho-hum waitress telling the poor girl that she didn't really win the $100.00.

In a normal bar setting the wait staff and bartender are engaging to keep the customer there so they can make money.  i don't think I have ever been to a BAR where more than two individual people have their phones out the entire time having conversations with it or browsing endlessly because no one at the bar is addressing them.  Additionally the amount of people who came in and just left within minutes was ridiculous.  I was thinking it was just me but as I kept watching these two girls they literally did not care that anyone was in their bar.

So bad for business....   When you are a bar and all of your customers are leaving within minutes, there is likely an issue.

I tried it two days in a row and am thinking that my next two days and money will be spent elsewhere. Sorry Fast Eddies!

Went here with the husband. After 15 minutes we left. Terrible service  on Wednesday afternoon. The waitress was more interested in the construction workers than taking our order.

Stay away from this place. Everyone seems to think they are sexy as hell. But fail more than Paris Hilton. Mediocre

Mediocre food at best, decent service. Cute bartender suggested wings, saying they were 'the best!' 45 minutes later, I was served a plate of bland, scrawny things. The only redemption they had to offer was charging only the cost of my beer. Not much solace. Avoid this place.

This is your typical dive bar.  Cheap drinks and and super laid-back vibe.  Any night of the week after 9PM this place is crowded!   There's foosball and a couple of pool tables.  The location is convenient to downtown and across the bridge from the Holiday inn Express and Red Lion hotels.

Side note:  Come on your birthday and spin the prize wheel!  You can win something as great as $100, or as lame as something out of the lost and found.  Either way, its still worth a bar-hop stop if you're celebrating a birthday!

No EM but the appetizers were still good.

Great place for drinks and watching sports. There a several TV's to catch the big game if you're in Spokane for work and want to get out of the hotel. As a plus it's within walking distance of the convention center hotels. Though the menu is typical bar food, it's very tasty and better than the food in the neighboring restaurants.

Also, see if you can beat my score on Golden Tee!

The place would be pretty cool if I wasn't military. Once the bartender found out me and my buddy were military (from fort Lewis) they cut us off. We had only bought two rounds and she told me that someone said I wanted to close out my tab. I asked who and she said that we were now cut off. I was polite and not intoxicated at all, just curious as to who 'wanted my tab closed out?'. If you're military or pro military, you're probably going to be cut off at this place if not forcibly removed!

It's become a tradition to hit Fast Eddie's when I'm in Spokane. Decent beer selection, good crowd, and tasty food make me keep coming back for more. $8.50 for a pitcher of Kokanee is a screaming deal in my book. Lots of TVs for watching multiple games is a big plus too!

The staff are pleasant although a bit overworked. The other night, someone didn't show and 2 people plus the kitchen staff kept the place going. Watching some people wait for beer was painful. Fortunately we established a beachhead at the bar and rapport with the bartender to get us through.

I wish there was a Fast Eddie's in Tumwater!

I love a good sports pub. It has to have a good selection of beer, plenty of TVs, access to as many sporting events as possible, and a huge base of fans for the local teams. Eddie's has this in spades.

Great bar menu, I recommend the Tuna Melt, decent selection of beers, and a great staff combine for one of my favorite lunch spots.

The great big fish bowl. Or at least that's what this place feels like when you're sitting at one of the tables by the huge ass windows. This was the first place I had a "red eye" (raw egg in a glass of beer with enough tabasco sauce to burn the back of your throat off), though I'm not sure if they still make the drinks. The wheel spin on your birthday is an awesome game which should be Incorporated into every bar and opened up to more occasions than just bdays, the more ridiculous the better. The crowd is a bit ho-hum, more Spokie then anything, but what can you expect when you live in the city.

This was my first Spokane stop and it was in the later afternoon.  I'm sure if the bar was packed I would not be such a happy reviewer, but wow, I wish Seattle had a Fast Eddies.

    What I liked:
Red Beer (Budlight with some tomato, clamato, whatever inside)
Big tables for groups of 8 or so throughout the place
Lots of TV's, cause it's got that sports theme
The birthday wheel, makes me want to turn 21 again
Looking at our neighbor's huge super good looking nachos
    Eating fried cheese

So you are in Spokane and you want a meat market type feel, but you don't want to get beat up by someone who is trying to prove their hardness: its time to hit Fast Eddies.

For those who would like to get beaten down, or would like to prove your hardness may I recommend the Cactus Club down the street. Its bitchin'.

On the plus side, Fast Eddies does serve Kokanee in pitchers... then again so do most places in Spokane.
