  This place is great in the sense that it has plenty of pools tables, but the staff make it a place I have decided to stay away from. I have been here on numerous nights where the staff has completely ignored me as I waited (seemingly forever) to get a drink. Instead they will chat with each other, finishing off their lengthy conversation before doing their job of serving drinks. I have also had the bartender serve other customers who they know before other customers who had been waiting far longer and were very obviously ahead of the others. This has happened on many occasions. At first I let it slide, but after it happened to me over and over, I decided this place didn't deserve my dollars. Come to think of it, they didn't act like they WANTED my dollars, so I guess it worked out for everyone.
  
  If you like dank, smoky environments staffed with bartenders who are more concerned with socializing with other staff and serving friends, then this is your place. If you want to play pool and get a drink in a reasonable amount of time, there are other pool halls in town.

  This place is pretty good for friends to hang out. There is a lot of pool tables to choose from, its .35 to play. There's a bar where the bartenders are always nice the drinks are great, well priced. They have a jukebox with some great classic rock, and a few other types of music. The only set back is the smoke, if the place is full then I usually come out of there with a headache
  But all in all we enjoy playing pool and having a good time.

  As an Austinite and a non-smoker, I am accustomed to smoke-free places. Though, I am not a non-smoker that refuses to go to places where people can smoke. However, if you are, I would say stay away from Fat Albert's.  But, if you don't mind having to spray yourself down with Febreze later on, and you are in the fine town of Wichita Falls, Texas, I say mosey over to Fat Albert's for these 2 things alone: 1. $4.25 domestic pitchers until 11 p.m. and 2. 35 cent pool.  That's right 35 cents.  
  
  Depending on your body size and your ability to play pool, you can catch a buzz and be entertained for $4.60.  That my friends is a hell of a deal.  Plus, the bartender is super nice and the people watching is good, and the regulars are pretty nice  - one even agreed with me that the bartender at Toby's (see my review of Toby's) is a jerk.  
  
  My colleague and I had a damn good time for less than 10 bucks.  But, if you are a pool hall snob, I would recommend bringing your own cue stick, because theirs are a little wonky.  Check it out. Stays open until 2:00 a.m.
