Yummy Mexican Food! Â Me and my family have been coming here for years after Sunday church. Â When you walk into the place you feel like you stepping into your mexican family home. Â Very warm and welcoming. Â The chips are the BOMB!!! Home made chips with yummy salt and spice. Â Always have homemade corn and flour tortillas. Â Beans/rice are just how your mom makes it. Â My favorite dish is the chimichanga with shredded beef. Â Worth the drive from Fresno, really not that far if you take highway 99.
Review Source:This was the worst place I have ever been to. And I am easily please not very picky.
Ask for a chimichanga chicken and was severed frozen chicken that tasted like rubber with after taste. Did not eat it. Â Had my co worker taco and it was just grease.
Complained to the server and did nothing. She Just wanted to go home. Never again coming to this place!!!!!
This place is great! Â We stopped here on our way home from Yosemite for breakfast. Â It was wonderful. Â I had the breakfast buffet. Â The Mexican food was great! Â There was cheese and meat enchiladas, green chili's, the beans, the eggs cooked in enchilada sauce. Â The stand out was the home made corn tortillas. Â These were just amazing. Â I wish I lived closer to this restaurant so I could go every week.
Review Source:Favorito's is one of the best Mexican restaurants anywhere in the Central Valley. Â In my opinion it blows most other well known Mexican restaurants out of the water, "cough cough Sals." Â Most of Favorito's patrons, including myself, enjoy the breakfast buffet which has a great selection of Mexican type breakfast fare. Â Just be warned that Sundays it can get a little packed as many people enjoy breakfast after church. Â My personal favorite thing to order is from the menu, their steak fajitas, are well seasoned tender strips of steak with onions and bell peppers are the best! Â Their chips are salsa are also home made, crisp salty chips and mild salsa. Â They make fresh four tortillas and their rice and beans are reminiscent of my moms cooking.
Favorito's expanded not too long ago to include not only an expanded dining area but also a large banquet hall. Â
Prices are very reasonable, you most likely to spend less the $10 per plate. Â Buffet is of course cheaper. Â Â
I was introduced to this restaurant through my wife's family when we were first dating and it has really grown on me over the years. Â The combination of great food, friendly atmosphere and attentive staff make this a real go-to place. Â
In a world of "me too" Mexican restaurants Favorito's stands out as one of the best in Valley. Â Just ask the countless regulars enjoying their food on any given Sunday. Â Take a short trip to Fowler and you wont be disappointed.
