How can you go wrong with a place called the "Feed Lot"? Â I was working in Wichita Falls and made the short 15 min drive up to "Burk" as the locals call Burkburnett and was completely impressed. Â This place is definitely worth the drive for good home cookin'. Â Don't be fooled by some of the places in WF like Pioneer that just don't live up. Â
When you drive up and see a tractor suspended above the Feed Lot sign, you know you are in for a real treat! Â
My meal was grilled pork chops which were very flavorful. Â I only got the half order, but it really hit the spot. Â The sides were delicious and well cooked. Â I liked it so much, I had to try a dessert. Â I heard one of the servers say they had raspberry cobbler. Â After ordering it, my server informed me it was "wild berry" cobbler. Â Turned out to be cherry, but completely made from scratch and very tasty.
