Came for lunch on a Friday at 1:00 PM.

The restaurant is a converted house which provides a variety of seating choices including three small dining rooms, the front porch and outside tables under live oak trees.  The areas were clean, organized and well decorated.  The tables are covered with tablecloths and set with flatware on both sides of the plate giving the dining rooms a warm inviting feeling.

I ordered a burger which came with a side of chips and a pickle spear.  They have a variety of cheeses available from which I selected Swiss.  The waitress asked how I wanted the burger cooked, which is generally a good sign.  When the burger arrived you could immediately tell it was not a pre-frozen perfectly shaped patty.  It was freshly made, thick and cooked just the way I ordered it.... medium-well.  A very good burger.  There was a generous portion of potato chips... the kettle style that are thicker with a loud crunch.

The server was friendly, helpful with the menu and attentive.

There is an obvious attention to detail that is reflected in the menu items.  The food is flavorful, well prepared and visually appealing.  A combination that is often missing from small town establishments.

    Highly recommended.

It is The Hatch pepper season so with that being said we tried the Green Hatch Chili Burger cooked medium with bacon & feta cheese--1 word-- Delicious!!!!
And the next time we are in the Utopia area we will be back to dine here for sure.
This burger is now in my top 5 of best burgers I've ever had!

Nice service.  Clean.  Fresh food.  The ginger stir fry chicken w/ collards over rice is excellent.  Was watching other plates coming out of the kitchen that looked awesome.  I don't think you can go wrong here.

I was a fan of this place when it was Hick's House and was so sad to see it closed.  I like Lost Maples Cafe but hoped something else would spring up for some variety. On my last trip to Utopia I was told we were going to have lunch at Fiddlestix and I was a little weary because it wasn't HH.

I shouldn't have been because this place is delicious.  Our waitress was so sweet and very attentive.  I had a sandwhich that was simple but really good and some chocolate chip cookies that were delicious snacks on my way back to Austin.  Another person in my group had a hamburger that looked amazing.  I can't say enough nice things about this place.  There is something about the ambiance of being in an old house that gives you a feeling of homecooking and grandma that you just can't beat and truly makes you feel at home.

Not many places to eat in Utopia, and my husband and I wanted to mix it up a bit while there 3 days. Very happy we tried Fiddlestix!  Food is delicious- very fresh and nicely presented.  My husband & I each had salmon with a spring greens salad & vinaigrette - he had the baked potato, and I requested a different no-carb veggie which was a much appreciated accommodation.  Other diners had shrimp dishes or burgers/sandwiches...all looked very appetizing.  Bet of all, the waitstaff and also the fellow DINERS were all ultra-friendly - asking one another about hometowns, where they were staying, making recommendations, etc.  A family-style feel at separate tables in a cute little home setting!

Fiddlestix is the best place to eat in Utopia. They have high quality, fresh, healthy and extremely tasty food. It's definitely not your average "small town" restaurant.

I've eaten there several times and have always been pleased. So far, I've had the street tacos (cooked perfectly, and you get 5!!!), the Alder Plank Grilled Salmon (my favorite),  the gingered chicken and greens, the french toast with coconut syrup, sausage cream cheese rolls (sooooo yummy!), and several items off the ever-changing dessert menu.

If you find yourself in the hill country, anywhere from Garner to Lost Maples to Bandera, it's worth the trip!

Fiddlestix is hands-down the tastiest restaurant in Utopia. I just visited with my boyfriend whose father lives in Utopia. They are friends with Quinton, the owner and head chef. After tasting some barbeque he made at a friend's birthday party, I was eager to visit his restaurant.

This is exactly what I look for in a place to go out to eat. I'm a cook myself, and I'm cheap, so I don't like going out unless the food is a really good value. Everything we had was delicious, and reasonably priced. The ambiance is really great too. It opened recently so hours are limited to lunch until it takes off, but it is well worth it.

If you want some tasty food in a West Texas atmosphere with class, this is the place to go. It has a gourmet touch without being pretentious.

Utopia is truly that....UTOPIA!  And to add to the perfection, it is the location of this great restaurant.
The food is fresh, creative and delicous; street tacos...yum!
    Burgers big and juicy!
There is also a wonderful Salmon dish, as well as shrimp.
When in Utopia be sure and sample this place.  Located in a historic house, giving is a cozy atmosphere.  Y'all come!
