The menu here is huge. Â Almost TOO huge, making it difficult to decide. I like the nachos carbonara (beef, chicken and shrimp). The shrimp was excellent. The beef a little bit too well done, but this is a mixed-meat dish, so it wasn't a big deal. The overall flavor was delicious. Their salsa is quite mild, but spicing it up is no problem, as there are five choices of hot sauce on the table. The chips are crispy, fresh and warm. Not too salty. Service seemed attentive but one guest at our table waited the longest for the "Speedy Gonzales" meal, and had to ask twice about it. Â The servers are not overly friendly and are definitely not chatty. I didn't get my sour cream, but found it wasn't necessary.
Review Source:Definately the best affordable mexican resturant that I've ever seen. Â The waitstaff may be stern-faced most of the time, giving the guest an uneasy feeling, but I've never had one brandish his throwing knives.
I have had one incident where the waiter forgot about me, and we sat for more than an hour before I complained, but for the most part, the service is fast and efficient.
As far as the quality of the food, it's good, but not great. Â The real reason they have four stars in my book is because of their affordability. Â Finding a place like this is a rare gem. Â Dinner for three that's less than 30 bucks!
