When it comes to pizza pie in Veneta, Oregon, Figaro's is pretty much your option. This Oregon-founded chain offers both we bake and you bake (take n bake) pizzas along with wings, salads and breadsticks. It's sort of like a Papa Murphy's but they have ovens too, which is great when, like us, you're glamping nearby and too lazy to cook your own pizza over the campfire.
We had agreed to feed an army of people ranging from 2 years old all the way up to the early 40's in age, and anyone who's tried to accomplish this feat knows that pizza is a happy medium. The pizzas here run from $15 to $20 (which is a little steep for the quality) for 16" extra-large size pies. Your choice of original, thin or thick crust. The ingredients are decent, the toppings are decent, and the crust is what you'd expect from your average delivery/take-out joint. A couple of dollars cheaper per pie and this would be a deal. Fortunately they have a check-in offer here for $3 off extra large pies, so at $12 instead of $15 for the one-topping pies, things became a lot more affordable.
The staff here was adequately friendly and helpful, willing to work with us for an early order and timed pickup (can't make hungry kids wait). Overall it was an A-OK experience.
