Went here during the day  with my parents (like 1-3) so really can't comment on nightlife aspect. They do serve great Bloody Mary's and the bartender was very attentive the whole time, though.

My friend and I stopped by on a non-busy Thursday afternoon. We were seated fairly quickly and our server came over pretty quickly. After we got our food, service was non existent. I waited about 10 minutes for a refill, calling our server twice as she passed by the table and eventually went over to her at the merchandise area with my cup and asked her for a refill. Same thing with the check. The other girl we asked was on the phone and told us "I can't help you" and went back to her conversation.

The one good thing I can say is drinks were cheap! My friend's beer was only $3.

If you don't expect great service and just want to be close to the  beach, it's okay. Otherwise, I'd look elsewhere.

Probably the worst DJ in all of wildwood. Not sure i can take another night of hearing "apple bottom jeans" or any other music circa 2007.  But when it's fun it's really fun! Especially when they have live bands! But seriously though, about that DJ....

One thing I hate about bars and clubs is getting pushed and shoved around.  And thats exactly what happens here.  It was so crowded and just awful.
Everytime i went there, the music was bad-- like too loud to understand, the floors are soaked with beer, and theres someone throwing up in the bathroom.  Its just all wrong there.  You are better off not going here.

Rude and racist! I wil never go back to this place. My husband asked the dj to play the new song by Kanya West for my bday. The dj looked at my husband & said "I dont play that Nigger shit".To be that racist & rude in a vacation area is upsetting.

    DJ's name was Tony Stef.

North Wildwood, yep! Exactly what you expect with a touch of "class".

It's an interesting stop for a night out as it's a bar and grill / club / resort. Yes, it's located in the Champagne Island Resort so there is a pool in the middle of the bar scene. I was sad it was not being used in the evening, that would have been a cool Vegas feel.

Overall, good place to start for drinks. Good music inside downstairs at night. A little bit of an older crowd for the shore on Sat night so that was nice.

So far this season things started out great.  After the passing of the original DJ they have failed to replace him with a quality DJ.  I can only take so much of the weak dance music that he plays.  Also the place has gotten too hot.  I have asked several staff about this and have gotten different responses.  One said that they just didn't turn it on and another said there are too many people to keep it cool.  So I'f it can't keep up slap some wall units on the dance floor you have enough money.  If its that you don't have it set low enough stop being cheap.  Other then that it's ok there decent crowd but you will sweat standing around if it's busy.

This review is for the night-life at FlipFlopz:

Pros: The music is very appealing to a wide audience. The dancefloor is roomy and always busy. The bartenders are cool. There is a lot of bar space. The female bathroom has plenty of stalls and a discreet attendant who can provide you with an emergency hair-tie or any other necessity you might be short on.

Cons: The bouncers there, aside from one nice guy named Frank are unnecessarily rude, unprofessional, belligerent, and abusive of their position. During the Erin Express I witnessed Frank break up what was almost a physical altercation between two of the other bouncers. They were within an inch of each other's face screaming obscenities in the the entrance. Very classy. Later that night, I stepped outside to call my designated driver (although we hadn't been drinking much, we chose to be responsible). When I walked back in to grab my friends so they could have a safe ride home, I was told I could not come back in, even though the building was still mostly full. I explained that I would just quickly be in and out to get my friends and the bouncer refused. I asked if he could get them for me and he said he could not leave his post. He then decided to contradict himself and walk away from the front door. I used that as my opportunity to walk in, get my friends, and in under a minute I headed out the exit door. The bouncer followed me out and yelled after me: "YOU BETTER NEVER COME TO THIS (EXPLETIVE) BAR EVER AGAIN YOU (EXPLETIVE) (EXPLETIVE)." It was absolutely unacceptable for a man to speak to a female patron that way, especially when I caused no disruption and was doing the right thing by making sure my friends had a safe way home.

After the mau5 concert, we came to Wildwood for the Irish Festival.

I hadn't eaten since....about noon the day before. I ordered a BLT, and it was like sex in my mouth. Washed down with a Bud Light Lime and I was loving life. I was here with my 3 main boys and they were watching the Phillies game. I'm no Philly fan, but I know better than to open my mouth in South Jersey.

Fair prices, quick and pleasant bartenders and a nice view of the whole festival. Great ending to another great weekend with the EZoo Crew.

You know what... for North Wildwood this place is super classy!

Big fan. Will be sure to check it out again provided that Flip Flopz manages to remain "Flip Flopz" for another season. You never really know with WW.

Maybe it's because I went offseason that I loved this place, but I did in fact...love it.

They played some of the craziest songs I've danced to in ages, such as Toto's Africa. This evoked lots of jumping around, smiles and giggles.  We even ran into one of my friend's parents and danced with them a bit.

    Drinks were cheap! I think $5.00 for a G&T.

Most times places are what you make them...and we had a GREAT time!

The bartenter, at the front bar was giving away shots and beers to his friends,  we had a hard time getting getting a drink we where paying
for.   Went to a table to get dinner, got menus,  waitress forgot to take order.  Forget about this place,  don't waste your money,  unless your are a local and (Patrick, I think that was his name young bartender, front bar by doors and windows, giving away drinks and doing shots with, but not tending bar)  GO ELSE WHERE

Love this place! Plays good music all the time.  Its the last bar we visit before the night is over.

We stopped in for lunch recently, and I was glad that we came at that hour: the four bars scattered among the sprawling space evoked memories of bro-tastic college debauchery. You can tell that this place is, first and foremost, a bastion of the Wildwood nightlife. But I should note that the food was decent.

We opted to eat in the main dining room, but there is actually a rooftop pool bar, where I believe you can eat and drink by the pool. There is a $5 cover to go up there.

The menu offered your standard bar fare -- I had a turkey club, which was decent, and my wife had chicken fingers -- and the service is prompt and professional.

Stop by if you're in the mood for a low-key lunch (perhaps even wear your bathing suit, should you opt to eat at the pool bar), but if you come at nighttime, be sure to have your collar sufficiently popped.

It was recommended that we go to Tiki Topz - the pool bar that is above Flip Flopz.  We packed up our suits and towels and headed over hoping for an afternoon filled with pool side libations and light munchies.  Unfortunately, there was a $5.00 cover to get into the pool which was overcrowded and cloudy (ehhhh..).  Considering that we were staying in a condo that had a private pool I suggested we eat downstairs at Flip Flopz.

We went for lunch and the place was dead quiet.....but you can tell that this place is hopping at night.  Four huge bars in one room....a barfly's paradise.  There was also a stage, dance floor and separate dining area......this place felt like it took up multiple city blocks.   Standard lunch menu: appetizers, salads, soups, and sandwiches all of which where priced accordingly.  Every bar was fulled stocked with multiple beer taps and any type of liquor that you could possibly want.

I would recommend to give this place a try  if you are visiting North Wildwood during the evening hours....I get the feeling it could be a good time!
