The Flipside Grille

We stopped here while in East Sparta on business, as it had been recommended to us.  We settled on the fish, chicken, and shrimp platter, with broccoli and mashed potatoes on the side, and we were not disappointed.  While the chicken and shrimp were the usual frozen kind (but good!), the mashed potatoes were red-skinned, full of skin and lumps and obviously homemade.  The same for the chicken gravy we were given with it; it had little bits of chicken and was absolutely fantastic.  We tried the custard and cherry pies and the crust was divine--Amish, we were told.  We'll definitely be back again.

I've been eating at The Flipside Grille for approximately 7 months and have worked my way through most of the menu. It's become one of my favorites, WELL WORTH the 20ish minute drive from Canton. Great menu, consistently well prepared food and outstanding service. What more can a person ask for?
