Forest Club

Way nicer than before. The nasty smell is gone and the bathrooms are clean. Nice patio too.

OK, so I'm definitely getting old, but this bar is not an enjoyable scene for me.  The Forest has revamped its interior (don't worry -- the outside is still the same nondescript, run-down funkiness) and gotten rid of the comfy booths.  These have been replaced with stools and small tables, making it not as relaxing and more more likely that you'll be jostled and sloshed.  The drinks are watery.  The clientele is likely to be boisterous after 10pm.  Carding usually happens at the front door -- I guess the back door entrance is for those on the honor system?  The outdoor seating is more of a smoking bench.

This place smells like me after I drink way too much.   But it's ok if you don't mind the smell,  it's a pretty chill bar
