Restaurant was not busy, which was good because we had a party of 10. But then I worry the food would not be great, I was wrong!! Â The owner chef obviously takes pride in food preparation.
The steak sandwiches are great, perhaps the best I have tasted outside of Philadelphia. The most popular was the chicken cheesesteak hoagie, even the side salad was carefully prepared . I had a cheesesteak hoagie (not chicken) and it was terrific.
There is a wall of candy for dessert but the cheesecake is great. The owner said they frequently host musicians so I will check their FB page for information . Be sure to take some pics by the covered bridge in the back.
the guy who owns this place is from Philly..... name's Little Mike...pretty nice guy.
this place is a basic general store located right next to a covered bridge, just outside of worlds end state park. They have gasoline, ice cream, all kinds of maps, food, snacks, an atm, sliced meat and cheese, souvenirs, postcards, and a small restaurant. we got some fish and a hamburger, i dont really remember if the food was good or not, but i do remember that it was cool that they had eveything there all in one.
they treated us pretty nicely and didnt rush us. There were two young waitresses and the owner, they cooked our food up from behind a see thru deli case. It was such a great little place to stop.
