Fort Ann Pizza Pit

I stopped by Fort Ann Pizza Pit, a small wood building located at the Route 4 (George St)/Route 149 (Ann St) intersection.

This cozy pizza shop serves up pan pizza and calzones plus cold & hot subs, wraps, burger, hot dogs, salads, and appetizers. The prices are pretty good, many individual items $4.00-$6.50 and pizzas $6.50-$16.00.

I ordered a Small 12" Cheese Pizza ($6.50 plus tax) for carryout. I enjoyed a couple fresh slices hot out of the oven. The crust was soft with a light dough texture inside topped with the right amount of tomato sauce and plenty of mozzarella cheese, a bit greasy, but definitely not Pizza "The" Hut greasy.
