The Fourteen Restaurant & Lounge

I'm a regular at the hotel and I often hit up the bar for happy hour.  The restaurant has bar food for around $5-$15.  Good burgers, wings, etc.  

If you plan on dining in the restaurant rather than the bar it is a whole different scene.  The dining area is very upscale for Palmdale and has some great items on the menu. Be ready to spend for the quality food.  The steaks are $16-$30 and that doesn't include any sides, they are $5 a piece (yes $5 for a side of asparagus).

I used to order steaks at the restaurant but the prices have really shot up over the last year so I'll just stick to the bar food unless I'm in the mood for a fancy evening in the AV.

My husband and I went here for dinner one night to try something different. The food was above average and the waitress was very friendly. We were told that they had a live jazz band on Friday nights, so we decided to check it out. The band was good although the waiters walking in front of them constantly was really distracting. Ordered two virgin drinks that costed us $15. Ouch! Great place to go to get some relaxation.

I had to go to the kitchen area to let them know they had a customer. Normally I would go out to a restaurant but since I had a few complimentary drinks at the hotel's reception, that was out. The food was mediocre....it won't win any awards. I was hoping an Embassy Suites would have a better place to eat but not so here.
