Went to Fox's with a friend who is a vegetarian. When we walked in the bartender made sure to tell us she is off at 6. We asked to get the nachos without meat but was told they could not do that because everything is pre-made. It was fine for us to get the sour cream, beans, and guacamole on the side but not the chicken and cheese. Being the server/bartender a suggestion of just chips and cheese would have been nice. I had ordered chicken strips with one side of ranch and one side of buffalo  sauce. When it came with bbq sauce i asked the food runner if i could get the side of buffalo sauce and he said we don't have that here. Well then how do you make your wings? do you buy all your food from the jewel and deep fry it? yes pretty much he said. When I asked the waitress to take all the food back it became a very big problem. So I asked to speak with the manager "Tim" I believe his name is Not that he introduced him self.  He said he Would not take anything off the bill and stood behind his bartender. The bartender said i forgot to tell you we don't have buffalo sauce that was her fault. However we still had to pay for it even though we didn't eat it and sent it right back. I told Tim for being the Manager you sure are managing Anything! Its amazing to me that your over 40 yr old bartender can't remember your 15 items on the menu. How is it that being in the customer service business you could not suggest another way of ordering nachos? like chips with cheese? I had also made it clear that your bar is completely empty and this is how you treat your only 3 customers...? this is how you resolve issues as a manager? The last thing I told him was I also work as a bartender in the same town and my restaurant brings catering to your restaurant. Knowing this information you would think he would change his tune but as you can see he didn't.  We still had to pay $36.00 for food we didn't eat and the bartender tried to charge one of our drinks twice. I hope you are proud of your selves and your decisions in customer service.

My family, fiance, and I stopped off here for a few drinks after my cousin's wedding up in Gurnee...

OK, Girl and I got waters...while the others had drinks

It was a nice little place to rest for a smidgen, before going to the reception down the road...

They had some GREAT bar peanuts that Girl and I really liked...and the LCD TVs had college football playing

Other than that, it's your typical hotel lounge

It'd probably be better if it were sometime in the spring/summer with the sun out and Lake Antioch being right across the street.

I attended the 3/16/2012 Grand Opening and was impressed by how the management pulled out all of the stops. Hot and cold appetizers, $1 drafts, lots of waitstaff on hand, johnny on the spot bartenders, etc. In other words- everything was present for a successful new business launch.

Both the bar and the patio facing Lake Antioch are beautifully decorated- the patio has a nice fireplace and water feature. Lots of tables with umbrellas and comfortable chairs. I can imagine that the sunsets this summer will be spectacular when viewed from the patio.

Plenty of parking either in their lot or the shopping center next door.

All of the elements are here to make this a go-to destination as either a sports bar or a nightclub. I have to question their choice of opening night live entertainment, but this small misstep is easily forgiven if they bring in popular area bands this summer.

Wishing them success- with the effort that they have put in, I feel that they deserve it.
