This is a great small town dive bar that serves some pretty awesome wings. Â I sometimes go out of my way on the way home to pick up a to-go order. Â Get the extra crispy. Â For what it is, the place has a pretty extensive menu, but the wings and burgers are the best options. Â
Miller Lite is their only draught, but they have most major domestics and imports in bottles. Â To my knowledge, this is a beer only bar, but if you're looking for wine and cocktails, this probably isn't your type of place anyway.
It's in an A-frame building, so space is pretty limited. Â There's only one window, and it's got an air-conditioner in it that looks like it was installed some time during the Nixon administration. Â Needless to say, the smoke just kind of hangs in the air at all times. Â Your clothes will reek of grease and smoke when you leave. Â If you're sensitive to that sort of thing you should probably stay away.
One oddity about the place is that it's dedicated to the University of Tennessee, despite the fact that it's located a good three hours from the campus. Â Everything is orange, including the pool table, and there's UT memorabilia everywhere. Â Watch out for the life-size Phil Fulmer cardboard cut-out.
If for some odd reason you find yourself in Manchester, check this place out. Â The staff is very friendly.
Annoyingly, they do not accept credit/debit cards.
