Great place to relax. They have fixed it up nice, with lots of sports memorabilia. Drinks are fairly priced, food is delicious, and staff is friendly.
The owner is fighting cancer, but still cleans and tends the bar, while her hubby smokes and plays games.
Go support a local establishment.
We came here for a family member's birthday night out from the inner loop. My first thoughts? This place is covered in Dallas Cowboys gear, and that's just not right. Smoking is allowed, because this is not in Houston city limits. Â I don't mind this sort of thing at all, but if you're the super sensitive type, you might want to avoid it. Â
We went up to the bar and noticed that everybody had an empty glass. Not good. Luckily, we had a table reserved, and the waitress swung by for our drink order. Don't know what sort of beer they serve here, but they could get me a St. Arnold's Lawnmower in a bottle, and that's just fine for me. There was a competent enough live band playing, and a decent amount of people, so the environment wasn't bad. Apparently there was a fight right before we got in, and the cops showed up to haul these guys off
Get rid of the Dallas stuff, and this could be a 3.5 star establishment.
Seriously this place is horrible. The customer service sucks as well as the waitstaff and owner. My group waited 2 hrs for our food and it was extremely cold. I watched the food sit there for at least 30 minutes (wasn't aware it was for my group) Â before it was handed to me. When made aware to the owner he tossed the food in the trash, opened the register and handed me the cash. He walked away, not remedying the fact that after 2 hrs we still had no food. I Witnessed a cocktail waitress drop a wing on the bar, placing it back on the food trey and give it to a table. I would hate to see what happens in the kitchen. This place is definitely not recommended, I will never go there again.
