I will admit that I've never had frog legs... but that wasn't going to stop me from eating here!

One of my best friends in the world was having a family gathering here for dinner.  She was quick to invite me along.  I was thrilled that she did!   This cute little restaurant has character, ambience and comfort!   This great little place was dimly lit for a cozy environment but still with plenty of seating for large groups like ours.

Our waitress did a great job with our party.   Drinks were brought out immediately and refilled continuously throughout our meal....  all with a smile! French bread baskets are brought out complimentary for the table.  This always puts a smile on my face!

My friend and I decided to try the goat cheese and peach appetizer.   The large amount of creamy goat cheese is brought out with slices of fresh french bread.  The flavor of the cheese topped with the peaches made for an incredible taste bud explosion.  This was an absolute winner!  Plus there was plenty to take home for another filling snack!

For my entree I went with the baked salmon in a fabulous roasted tomato cream sauce.   The salmon was baked perfectly!  The portion size was just right.  The tomato and onions laid gently across the top of this dish which was like the cherry on top! I would highly recommend this dish to anyone.  The tremendous flavors of the ingredients sang in harmony. La La La!

This great restaurant is definitely going on my list of places to visit again when I come back home.  Thank you for an incredible dining experience!

Frogleg Inn is a authentic french cuisine resturant, that is found in Erie MI. I have been here many times and my family and I absoultey love it! They have plenty of options on the menu. Some dishes are heavy cream based, but....French food is known for thier wonderful wine sauces and flavor! Beside from the creamy dishes there are many other options such as seafood-Grilled, baked or hand battered and fried. They also have Pork, Lamb, Steak, and chicken, They offer a wonderful appitizer menu, along with thier extensive wine menu. Dont forget to save room for thier desert menu! The staff is very genuine fast and friendly. I would and have recomeded this resturant to many friends and family members!

This is easily one of our most favorite restaurants to visit. We live in the Old West End in Toledo, and the drive up to Erie Michigan couldn't be easier for us. We just take detroit north, and 10 minutes later we've arrived!

They very recently re-did the interior of the Frog Leg Inn, and I have to admit I miss the quaintness and homeyness of the previous interior decorations. They used to have quilts and wine bottles on the walls, but now it's more contemporary with some funky wall sculptures.

While we come for the food, we also come for the friendly faces. The staff make an effort of letting you know they remember you. It's really a great feeling to feel so welcomed.

We haven't been there for their live music, but they have a new piano in the dining room. I suspect it's a really great experience, having live music played while you enjoy fine country style french food.

They often have seasonal specials, and I almost always try one when ordering. All of their standard fair is fantastic, but a bit on the heavier side with cream and butter. The specials typically are a little lighter and fresher. This weekend I had a grilled squab, but the mayan lamb chops also really looked good.

The prices are surprisingly affordable, given the quality. The Frog Leg in is the type of restaurant I would think more people would be talking about, but I think because it's in Michigan, it doesn't ge the attention it deserves.

Looking for a romantic place to take your sweet heart? Consider the Frog Leg Inn.
