Solid option, and as Tristan says in his review, there aren't many options nearby. Â I wouldn't go out of my way to go here, but when in Orrick ...
Had lunch, while passing through town. Â Waitress was prompt and reasonably attentive. Â Instead of frog legs, I had a more mundane chicken sandwich special with fries. Â Everything came with fries. Â Even one of the guys in my group who asked to not get fries ... had a plate full of fries. Â But, they were good fries.
Pretty large. Â Decent amount of traffic. Â There is a group room on the side, and while we were there, it was hosting some kind of ladies meeting.
Good, small-town, cafe [without the accent on the 'e'].
An interesting find when I was working on the railroad...
I decided to come here when my group did not want to drive for another 40 minutes into Liberty or go to Subway or Wal-Mart for dinner. We stumbled into town and found this place.
It is as local as it gets and the food is great for the hungry traveler. If they have frog legs, give them a try. It was my first time trying them (I had to get past my fears that came from watching the Muppet Movie) and they were tasty to my surprise. Their fried chicken and burgers are just as good as the other places in Liberty and are at a reasonable price. They do take-outs in case you need to get back on the road.
