I've been here a couple of times and the food is great! Just getting caught on some Yelps now that I have the time! WE've been there for breakfast and Lunch and the food was delish! Had to wait alittle for a seat but  was worth it! All home made! MMMMMMMM! Our relatives loved it also!
Review Source:This is the best breakfast in Ocean Park, by far! Everything is made fresh to order. They use real eggs for everything. They have gluten-free bread. The owner is the chef and has been making breakfast here for a very long time. I love the crustless crab quiche, the spicy omelette w/ avocados, the eggs benedict, and the 2-egg breakfast the most. Usually there's not much for me to choose from at a breakfast restaurant. At Full Circle, I'm challenged with many delicious choices!
Referring to some of the prior reviews, it's definitely worth any wait there might be. And, mostly, there is not an excessive wait. If there is, just remember that you're at the beach. This is your chance to slow down, be patient, relax, and enjoy! And, if you get antsy, you can always go check out the yarn at the little yarn shop in the back.
The perfect place for a rainy Sunday morning breakfast! I had the hangs own omelet which had beautifully sautéed oysters and was accompanied by an on point hollandaise sauce as well as some excellent hash browns. The toast arrived pre-buttered. I'm not such a big fan of that so if you don't like butter on your toast speak up.
My wife had the oatmeal which was fine and we split a gigantic cinnamon role which was quite good. Not too sweet and plenty of  nuts. I would highly recommend!
Far from the hubbub of downtown Long Beach, Full Circle Cafe in nearby Ocean Park serves refreshingly great sandwiches at reasonable (non-touristy) rates. I had the Gobbler, a turkey sandwich encased between two slices of sourdough bread with sprouts, cream cheese and cranberries.
My companion loved the oyster stew (they prepare it when you order it). The raspberry chocolate torte was also great!
It was our first time there but we will definitely come back next time we are in the area. Highly recommended!
For a great traditional breakfast designed to represent the area, "Full Circle Cafe" is a great place to go. Â It is small and can be busy on weekends. Â We have had breakfast here several times. Â Recommend the hang town omelet, spicy omelet, and any of their specials. Â They are willing to work with you on special requests. You will not be disappointed unless you are in a hurry.
Review Source:Such a sweet little place. Think greasy spoon with top-notch baked goods (made in house!). They also do a lot of local support--10% of their profit on Thursdays goes to the Long Beach Peninsula Boys and Girls Club, for instance.
I've only been here for lunch, but their Ruben is delicious, as is their BST (bacon, sprouts, tomato--so much better than lettuce!). Their burgers are served on bread instead of buns, which is weird, but whatever. Their desserts and baked goods are just fabulous. Their brownie was gooey and they had a scoop of raspberry gelato that's just the right size for something small after lunch (and is also super tasty!).
They have a freezer (shelf?) of ice cream, too--some of the local school kids even get rewards from schools and their prize is a scoop of ice cream. It's probably not homemade like the rest of the stuff is, but it's also delicious.
There's an extra star because I love yarn, and there's a totally brilliant yarn shop in the back (I think it's technically a different store than the café, but run by the same people). I love looking through and touching all of the yarns after I eat or if I have to wait, and there are a lot of high-quality yarns there!
The kitchen has added a couple of things to the menu that weren't there last time, and we tried two of them today. Â The delicious spicy omelet (you can pick 1, 2, or 3 hotness) was so perfect it could have been in a book on food styling. Â There were 4 little perfectly sliced, baby tomatoes that looked like rubies on the top of the omelet, and the little puff of goodness was filled with cheese and flavors of southwest. Â Hubby got the huevos rancheros, and the refried beans were light, impossible to do, and flavorful as well. Â I don't know how Colleen gets them so creamy! Â
It's the hashed browns, though, that made me eat both mine and Rich's. Â They were crisp, hot, the color of golden sand, and perfectly cooked. Â I am one to correct my reviews if I find it is needed, and here is such a case. Â The best hashed browns I think I've had. Â All this is in the midst of a sunny, gorgeous day on the ocean, which you can see from the door. Â Unbelievable place.
LOVED this place. Went there for breakfast and it was amazing. Â Crustless crab quiche was to die for as was everyone else's food. Â Tried to go back another day but there was a line so we went to another place for breakfast and it was awful. Â This place is definitely worth the wait!
Review Source:Came here for lunch today. This little cafe was recommended to me by my grandma and her husband, who is originally from Ocean Park. The cafe sits basically as close to the beach as you can get. It's a beautiful location. Not very big inside, but our hostess moved us to a booth as soon as one became available. The sandwiches are delicious (get the turkey gobbler!) and the clam chowder was phenomenal. Probably the best chowder I've ever had. Then came time for dessert. We decided to try the bread pudding. Oh. My. Smothered in whip cream and caramel sauce it looked and smelled like heaven. After sampling a few bites I couldnt figure quite what bread they use to make it, the hostess whispered, "Cinnamon rolls" and gave me a knowing nod. I'm sure she's seen my reaction from a few folks before. The only downside was that the service was a little slow. I get the feeling they don't keep many staff on between the cafe and the yarn shop in the back. The menu warned us it could be slow, though. All i can say is it was definitely worth the wait.
Review Source:We were on a Long Beach  bird counting  survey when our leader said "time for nourishment!".  Given that I was in a murder of scientists (that's a bird joke), I expected groat clusters and wheat grass tea. Â
Off the beach we came and into some of the best cinnamon rolls / pecan rolls I've had in a lonnnnnnng time.  They were huge and ultra  gooey (the rolls, that is)  Coffee was good too (and not sticky)
Cute little local spot with breakfasts and lunch, Â a small bakery and the obligatory tacky beach gift shop.
I can't speak (yet) for the other food they serve, but on the basis of the sticky buns, I'm giving this place a five and a spot on my double love handle hall of fame list.
Well, I would LIKE to say we ate here.........but we couldn't get waited on. Â While the young girl who seated us was pleasant, friendly, and brought water/coffee (not very good) quickly - the actual waitress was MIA. Â There are only about 10 tables in this place - why couldn't someone take our order?
The menu looked good but, after sitting for 10+ minutes and finishing our one measly cup of not good coffee - we got up and left. Â On our way out the door - THEN the waitress said something to us - Are you leaving ladies? Â Yep - we are, and so is the one MAN with us.
We won't go back.
Just got back from a quick trip to the coast and love, love, loved this cute little place. Their breakfast was perfect diner fare done really well. Great coffee, homey feel, and fabulous service. You really can't ask for more especially when you're on vacation and don't really know where to go for good food. I highly recommend that you check it out and grab some dessert to go.
