I was the only patron at this bar/pub when I happened on it  during my drive around Oak Creek Village.  It was in the middle of the day and the bartender assured me that the place picks up at night.

The only thing that kept me from giving the Full Moon a lone star rating was the bartender's super friendly and welcoming attitude.  And the place was clean and presentable, so that counts for something too.

I had a burger and it was messy and gross.  (Why do people insist on fucking up a burger with mustard??).  I imagine you come to this place for the company and to get shit-faced; this way you won't mind how barely adequate the food really is.

The best dive bar in Sedona. Band on the weekends. Pool tables. Free WiFi. Outside patio to smoke. Stiff drinks. Service was fast. We came here to wind down for the night. After the band set up more people started showing up. Definitely a local bar. Didn't order food. All in all a good place to relax and have a drink.

This place was beyond dead. The only other people there other than us were the bartender and a family of 4. The place and service, however, was top notch. Wish we came here on a busier night though.

Kelly, our bartender, was really cool and she made the best drinks:D. A couple more people arrived when we were ready to leave though.

This is the first place to stop for a cold beer before heading into Sedona. It gave me a chance to sit and enjoy the vistas in the Village and have an Oak Creek Brewing, amber ale. Very tasty.

Bell Rock and Courthouse Butte are in view from the little outdoor patio. Seating is minimal but perfect. Today is a bit breezy and in the 80's. There is an art show going on down the street. I believe we shall go for a walk after this.

Good, cold beer. Good selection of beers and spirits.

Awesome, warm staff. Treated me like a local and were more than willing to point us in the direction of great food and even other bars we might enjoy.

    Definitely going back.

Beer, pool tables and tvs- if that's what you looking for, this place will suit you. Skip the food.

My husband & I stopped at the Full Moon Saloon on our way out of Sedona & loved it! We had a chance to sample the local beer (which we couldn't do @ the brewery itself - but that's another review) and had their "great backyard-bbq-like" burger. The atmosphere is great. The menu is definitely limited, but what they do serve is worth having. We stopped by on Sunday around lunch time and they had football on. A delighter for my hubby! We intend on going back to Sedona and will definitely go to the Saloon for some pints, a burger and hopefully get to play some pool too!

This smallish bar is that's just about your only choice for a late night drink in the village of Oak Creek. If you don't like PJs (the other pub in the village, not the garment), it's your only choice.

A single pool table and a couple of TVs, a limited bar food menu and 4 or 5 northern Arizona beers on tap. Free wi-fi.

Two unique items worth mentioning - a nice outdoor seating area when the night is cool and the big fireplace is going.  And a breathalyzer on the back wall where for a fee you can see how drunk you really are.

We saw a late movie last night and wanted to grab a drink before heating back to our hotel, so we hit up the saloon at the recommendation of one of the locals. It's tucked in the back of a shopping center and it was surprisingly busy when we pulled up at around midnight. We sat ourselves near the bar and our server quickly welcomed us and got us some drinks. This place obviously isn't catering to gourmet diners, but the turkey sandwich and potato salad was pretty good for the $7 I paid for it. It was a nice place to chill, and it seems like a lot of locals were coming and going while we were there.

My boyfriend and I recently vacationed here from Chicago and we loved this bar.  It is smaller but the staff was awesome! We had a blast just chatting and enjoying our time away! We had a female bartender with long hair and she was so nice and sweet and always was quick to refill our drinks when we were ready, she was perfect!! We also stopped in for Karaoke one night and it was sooooo entertaining! We had a blast! We can't wait to go back to Sedona and we will be sure to visit the Full moon saloon again :) it is a very cute bar and it's open late if you want a drink after dinner and just want to hang out :)

We stopped in because the human sign out front on 179 said "Great Burgers n Cold Beer."  The only thing true was the beer was cold. I guess that is something they think is special.

The burger came without fries (they serve ruffles potato chips). They don't serve fries and I'm assuming by that and their limited menu they have no deep fryer. I ordered mine with cheddar medium well and was told they only have American.  "Ok" I said. I'll roll with it.

What I got was unacceptable.  It was a thin grey pre cooked burger with perfect "grill marks" on it that had obviously been cooked off premises. It was merely heated up and arrived 4 minutes after I ordered it.  Of course it was well done. I'm sure it was cooked to well done at the factory.  I'm not a gourmet guy, I like burgers of all kinds, but I'm not into factory food patties.  It tasted horrible with the consistency of an overly processed piece of rubber. Two bites and I was done. It wasn't worth eating and false advertising.

I didn't say anything to the female bartender and only employee visible.  It wasn't worth it. I asked for my check, tipped the bartender and left.

Honestly, I get it that this is a bar but they advertise as having "great burgers!" They know there is nothing good about their burgers. No need to blantantly lie to get me to buy a beer.  I would have come in for drinks but now that I feel lied to I'll never go back.  This place is bad.

Great little neighborhood place. It's only a 3 minute walk from the Hilton Golf Resort (just down the hill) and since the hotel bar closed at 11pm there it was a great find. The bartenders were friendly and right on top of everything. The drinks were perfect - not too strong but not too weak. They have pool tables in the back and live music on the weekends. There is a smoking patio out front with a fire place. The regulars seemed nice enough and friendly; more than I can say about the day bartender who ignored us for 20+ minutes because we weren't regulars - other bartender Kelly, I think, was funny and a great bartender so she made up for it.

Not a large menu, but it totally works. The burgers were simple but GOOD! The wings weren't bad, but it seemed like they were re-heated in a microwave. The place, including the kitchen, is open until 2am, which apparently is a rarity in Sedona. Definitely a great place, especially if you are staying nearby.

This place was a great find. We thought we were screwed since the Hilton Sedona Resort bar shut down at 11pm. Thank God for Brian at the Hilton telling us about this place. Nice little neighborhood place 2 mins walking distance.

Great service! They made us feel welcome from the beginning. Open until 2am, which is impossible to find in Sedona. Full bar with a smoking patio out front. Didn't try the food but the wings smelled awesome. Live music and karaoke twice a week.

Nice little bar - with totally reasonable prices and great live music on Fri/Sat night.  You can walk to it (easily) from the Hilton Sedona Resort & Spa.  The bartender is not the most talkative - bit the patrons were fun and the regulars were nice too.  2 pool tables, a few TVs with sports on.

I just moved to the Village, and I stopped here after partying in West Sedona.  Upon my arrival, I was greeted by a fire truck and ambulance.  When i got to the front door, they were telling a guy that his blood pressure was too low to profuse, and dude looked like he'd had more than booze.  It was not your normal first visit to a bar.

I ordered an Oak Creek Nut Brown prior to knowing there was Fat Tire in a bottle.  I also ordered their turkey sandwich and don't recommend doing so.  Pretty icky, but where else in Sedona can you score grub at 1:00 in the morning?  It will gear you up for the half mile hike you need to get to the bathroom, which is a fair trek away from the comfort of the bar.

I walked in while some dude was being attended to by health personnel, I lost two games of pool, and upon leaving, gave a stranger a ride home, and some dirty old guy tried to kiss me.  I guess that kinda stuff only happens at the Full Moon Saloon.

As far as Sedona nightlife goes (which is relatively slow for a girl from los angeles), I love this place.  First time I came her was a saturday night when they had radio dogma, live bad, who also do covers... Excellent local band.

Drinks are good and resonable, the bouncer and band were very welcoming.

They have a pool table, and having been deprived of cable on this trip... 2 bar side tvs!!! Wooo hooo! Baseball.

So, my second trip, came on a sunday night. It was a bit slow, and they had karioki... Fun, even though the crowd was small.

I ordered the veggie pizza... Yummo! 7.00 bucks!!!

So, if you are ok with chillin... Go!!!

I stayed at the Hilton and meant to go back for karaoke, but was too tired after rafting the Grand Canyon. The burger was interesting, but the bartender was a bit stand-offish. However, seemed like a nice place and I hope to get back next time I am in Sedona and stay at the Hilton again. Arizona is a smoke-free state, but I do believe they let you smoke outside in the patio area.
