Had dinner/drinks with 4 people. 3 of our 4 meals left much to be desired. Clams were sandy, scallops undercooked, fish tasteless and the entree was not served with what it said it should be. The service was slow and we had to ask multiple times for things (that should be obvious, like waters). Possibly the most frustrating part was that when these issues were addressed  with the manager, he seemed indifferent. He did speak to the waitress, but he did it while we were still dining, therefore making the remainder of our meal uncomfortable. All 4 of us agreed that we will not be returning. Note: one person in our party had the ahi tuna sandwich & said it was delicious.
Review Source:Great atmosphere. Â Outdoor seating. Â College kids for wait staff. Â That's about all that is good with the place.
The food was okay. Â If you want better wings or bar food try the place across the street - The Press Box.
As for drinks, stay away from their home made Bloody Mary's. Â There is literally no after-taste. Â None. Â Tasted like water. Â Couldn't even taste the alcohol. Â When asked if they even added Grey Goose to it, the waitress responded with "Ofcourse. Â I did it myself. Â It's probably 'cause it's Goose as it's very smooth and you can't taste it" - She looked like a freshman in college. Â Go figure! Â Any place that let's their waiters make drinks instead of a bartender.......
Steamers is a bar/resturant in the Econolodge in Oswego, NY. Surprisingly, it's not a bad place to eat and have a few drinks, especially if you are staying in Econolodge as I was. It's a little over priced but they make up for that with an awesome patio overlooking the river. If you go around sunset and the sun is glaring in your eyes just ask your server to adjust the sun shade a little. Based on the prices, I'd probable give them two stars but the patio and convenience of being in the hotel bumped it up to three.
