Their bar food is some of the best I have ever had at a bar. Â Burgers are flame grilled and the pasta dishes always come out perfectly cooked and in huge quantities. Â The drinks are also well made, and Mike, Juan, and Lucas are the nicest bartenders around. Â Also, not filled with annoying college kids most of the time so it doesn't get too rowdy. Â My favorite place to meet up with friends and grab a quick bite. Â My buddy Tim B doesn't like the Lebanon one, so maybe he will come to this one and tell me if it's better or not.
Review Source:.I drove down from Salem today on the strength of a recommendation from another reviewer on another site.
Finding it is a little tricky as it is not visible from the street.
If you've ever been in a sports bar, there will be no surprises for you here. They're pretty much all the same. Ubiquitous televisions, dart boards, etc.
The Burger I chose was $11.50! With this heavy tariff, I thought: "This had better be good!" It was.
I ordered a Chipotle Bleu Cheese Burger with a Green Salad as my side. It's a half pound Patty with Bleu Cheese, Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, Red Onion and Chipotle Sauce served on a substantial Roll. (A Wonder Bun would not hold up under the rigors required to eat this behemoth.) Â The Salad was Romaine Lettuce, Spinach, Arugula, Tomato, Red Onion and Croutons. I had Honey-Mustard Dressing which was served on the side.
I'm always on the prod for an exceptional Burger and Albany has more than its share for a small valley berg. (Wilhelm's and King Cone come to mind.)
I think Game Time can hold its head up in any B&G Burger competition
game time is really popular for some reason, to me it's just okay. they do have some great bartenders :) the chicken wraps are great, but the rest of the food that i've tried there hasn't been fabulous. nothing too exciting about it unless you're into darts and sports (which i'm not!)
