My gf lived in the area and I lived in LB so I tried to find a bar that was divey but not completely dead. I found this bar on yelp and gave it a shot. First time we went we had a pretty good time, the beer selection is okay and the service itself is not bad. It does get pretty crowded sometimes so its best to get here early if your hoping to get a seat. The crowd is kind of mixed; though they were playing a lot of mainstream music there was different types of people.
I've only been there on the weekend so don't know how it is during the week.
Hmmm, where to begin. The good: this place had a complete makeover, including staff. Interior looks great, they now accept credit cards and have a decent selection of beer and spirits. Theres always some HH but its nothing you'd really want, ie Bud light etc.
The staff now is a lot better, more attentive, friendly etc. This place does get really packed.
The bad: You get the "rough" crowd , Â Last two times fights almost broke out, due to who was next at the pool table. These people should just stay home!
Only one bathroom for the girls and always a long wait. Parking is pretty limited.
The bouncers and staff try to do a good job about 86 ing the trouble makers, but still you feel like your gonna get sucker punched.
When this place is"thug free" its an A+ and i've enjoyed it.
I've been coming to this little dive bar for over a year now, and I gotta say it's THE best bar I've ever been to....love Carlos the bartender and Coby the bouncer...and ADRIAN, my favorite pool opponent and token eye candy  ;)   you guys rock!  This place has a great atmosphere, cheap, stiff drinks and plenty of beers to choose from and always full of cool ass locals who I call friends, who happen to be some of the best pool competitors around.  You gotta check it out...especially for free pool on Wednesdays and Saturday night when the DJ is bangin out the best music out there!  Honestly though, any night at the Glen is a great night :)  LOVE IT!!!
Review Source:Had not been here since they remodeled and it looks pretty damn good. It's a dive bar with a face lift so you get the best of both worlds. Great service, economically priced beers with a great selection and a great atmosphere. Bartender is very attentive and friendly and it's still unknown enough where you can catch a Laker or Dodger game there without having to fight for a seat.
Review Source:This place is always dead and no girls there. Its all dudes. They need to promote that bar more if they wanna get new people in there. Other than that issue its nice in there. Thats about it.. Booze is ok price, would be better if they had a 2 dollar tuesdays all night on tuesdays on booze. But whatever..
