The sloppers aren't the best in town, but they are still pretty darn good. The two waiters that we've had over and over are both very good, but with very different styles. Don't get put off by the guy who is all business-he doesn't write anything down, but gets every order right. Then there's the talkative guy who remembers you, and always gets your order right also. The food is consistent and the atmosphere is casual. The patio is wonderful on a summer evening. Who could ask for anything better?
Review Source:Went here for my first "Slopper". It was great! Green Chili sloppers served open face, in a pie tin. Basically its a burger, with a pork green chili poured over it, with cheese and onions. You can also get your fries drowned in the deliciousous green chili. I've also eaten at Coors Tavern, and didn't find it to be as good. I make my own green chili sauce, so I have certain expectations. It's a cool atmosphere, and its in old town Pueblo to boot. Grab a Slopper & a beer, then go wander old towns shops!
