Goodfellos

GFs deserves its 4/5 stars. However, the management does not understand the purpose of reservations. Three years now they have taken a reservation and have failed to seat us without a half to a full wait.
This year we made the reservation for 7 adults and three children at a table outside. Two adults arrived early to make certain we would be seated on time. The hostess was readying the table. Eight people arrived and the Manger gave our table to her friends, She told our s outing party there would  be Wait of half to a full hour. We will miss GFs for our annual summer family dinner. There are several equally good options that do honor their reservations. When I am prepared to pick up a $300.00 tab I expect to be treated properly!

Tasty food, including fancy pizzas! It's a bit on the pricey side, but the items I had were worth the cost. The environment and service was pretty nice. However, I would have really liked to see the bar area separated from the main dining room. Maybe it was only during March Madness (help me!) but there was too much shouting at the TV from the bar, in what would otherwise be a lovely dining area.

Good food! Love the Jeremiah pizza. Always good service. Will miss this place when we leave NY. Like the variety of local and national wines. Only disappointment was the canned pears on my salad.
