Gore Range Brewery

Vacationing in Edwards, stopped in for dinner. Had some great vegetarian appetizers for myself which was really nice since I'm usually stuck with a plain salad. Highly recommend the chick pea sticks, the shishitou peppers, and the quinoa salad. Also had a super yummy gluten free chocolate cake. The outside seating on the patio was really nice too! Friendly service too!

Some of the reviewers who have given this establishment a one star must have mixed it up with Burger King or maybe Wendy's. Gore Range is a fantastic place to feast upon a sports-bar styled, yet true to Colorado meal. It's a great place to eat, drink, and be merry. It's a wonderful place to bring both friends and family wether it's to eat or to watch the big game. Sure, I've had a bad waiter every now and then, but 90% of the time, I get excellent service. It's understandable how rushed the waiters are sometimes when they are completely packed, as with any restaurant. I've had no meal here that has let me down.

We were in the Vail area for a long weekend and had a late lunch at Gore Range.  We located them through their excellent website which helped us decide to go there instead of another place that had a poor site.

Even though they were busy, and there was an event going on in a nearby town, the service was excellent.

The good:
- We were greeted right away with a smile, then seated on their very nice patio
- A very friendly server took our drink orders which came quickly.  Our meals were brought out in a timely fashion.
- The server noted an item that should have come with the meal even before we noticed, then got it very quickly.
- Overall the food was well prepared and good.  The homemade fries were extra good and the lamb burger I ordered was huge and cooked just as I asked for it!

The not so good:
- One in our party had ordered the pulled pork sandwich which was very dry and hard to chew.  The server did stop by early on to ask how things were going and he noted that this was not good.  She quickly apologized and whisked it away, then brought a menu back saying he should pick something else.  He picked the chicken which he said was very good.  This took away one star, and could have been more had the server not handled it so great.

The bad:  Nothing

All in all, except for the dry pork, the food, service and atmosphere was great.  We'll be back when our travels bring us to the area again.  Recommended!
