Graham Central Station

Oh, sweet Jesus, I never thought I'd deign to go to Graham Central Station. Oh, but I did. I did.

The only thing good that happened to me is that the door guy said I looked really young. Thank you door guy! Other than that, it was just like the Graham's in Round Rock, TX only, like, smaller and weirder.

Let's just say I don't think I'll be coming back any time soon.

I don't know. The place just kind of has a weird vibe. Maybe it's because I just moved here from Seattle, but the atmosphere left a little to be desired. Compared to other clubs or bars around, this place seems to be more stand-offish and the mixing of different styles is cool, but sometimes seems a bit awkward. I think the best thing about GCS is the karaoke room. It's always good for a laugh and the bartenders are actually nice. I will go back, but less frequently than other places.

Bleh...just can't do it again!! This is my 2nd time and probably my last.

Graham Central Station contains 3 main rooms: hip hop/r&b (mainstream, Clear Channel music), country, and karaoke. Extremely casual setting...no stress as far as dress code. $5 cover charge....the age range on the night that I went was (21 through 50+)... Plenty of cages, too...I think I counted about 8...and a lovely dance pole near the DJ booth.
