Gramma's was not there anymore... Sorry we missed it.

We are weight conscious, so we spit a turkey club.  It tasted like the turkey was smoked and the waffle fries were the best.  Along those lines, the waitress happily set up 2 plates and split the meal.  We each had a cup of turkey-noodle soup, also with smoked turkey.  Our meal was timely and very good, and the price was very reasonable.  We're planning to catch dinner here on our way back from the Adirondacks.

The food was ok but it took entirely too long. If you're traveling on I-88 and see the sign, don't stop unless you have a lot of time.

Stopped here for breakfast on the way back from The Glen with 5 of my buddies. We all had different plates but they have some great skillet breakfasts. We always appreciate a cheap breakfast and this was for sure light on the wallet.

I had 2 eggs, hash, home fries, & toast for about $5. The meal itself was better than average, but it's also hard to screw up breakfast. The toast tasted a little funky, so I didn't bother eat it. But I was full from the rest of the plate anyway.

The restaurant itself is very nice. The parking lot easily handled our RV and the building itself was in great shape. This is not some run down old diner.

The service was very good but a little slow towards the end. Maybe it is our go-go-go way of life as city-folk but we were sitting with empty plates for 10 minutes or so.

They had FOX News on the TV which was great. Gotta love being out in the country with like-minded individuals.

When we go to The Glen next year, we are for sure stopping here on the way home.

Take note that it must have moved, because it is now on Rt. 79 south of I-88 by the Harpursville US Post Office. GPS: 42.180471,-75.628121

If you're traveling from the Binghamton area east toward Albany on I88, you should get off at the Harpursville exit and eat breakfast or lunch at Gramma's. They are open for dinner too but I have not tried it, but they are open everyday. My wife says the pancakes are the best she's had. I usually have the omelettes which are great. I usually  have the "Hag" which is a great cheeseburger omeletteIt. It changed hands about a year ago and is much better. It's cleaner. When the new owners took over, they painted the place and added new wainscoating. It's a small restaurant that would be in the diner category. They do not serve alcohol. It's mainly a place that the locals hangout. I've also been there for lunch. They have specials for all 3 meals. Although I haven't had one, their hamburgers look great and they are big. Because we live near it, my wife and I often go there for breakfast. The service is very friendly and fast. If you go between 12:00 and 1:00pm, it gets somewhat busy and the service might be a bit slower depending who's cooking. They have a wide variety of desserts all made on the premises. I'm not telling you that you need to make a special trip there, but if you are passing by, try it. Or, if you are looking for another place for breakfast and you have the time to travel there, you should try it. The prices are cheap.
