Friday night is NOT the night to visit if you want to order anything from the regular menu rather than the Beef & Seafood buffet. At $22/plate the buffet is pricy for the area. An order of sliders, a burger and soup took 25 minutes to arrive after a 10-minute drink order wait. The waitress was upfront: "it'll be a long wait because the buffet is our service priority tonight." With a light appetite, the buffet was overkill. The three meatloaf sliders were moist and tender, but slathered with BBQ sauce, it was a challenging mess to eat. The 8 oz. well-done burger was fair, the sweet potato fries good. The chowder was forgotten so I retrieved my own from the buffet line. If you have time to kill, this may be the place with an outdoor deck overlooking the river, large dining/banquet room in addition to dining in a noisy bar room.
