This was recommended to me while traveling on business. Â It was the best restaurant I've been to in a very long time. Â If you like home cooked soul food this is the place. Â The fried chicken, fried livers and creamed corn were just so good I had to ask for the recipe. Â The deserts were good too. Â Everything was very good to include the staff. Â Prices were very reasonable as well. Â We stayed in town 4 days and we ate there 3 times.
Review Source:Great buffet. Â Ate on a Friday evening. Â All the food was fresh. Â The chicken was the star though, comparable to Buckner's in my opinion. Â Some of the best fried chicken I have ever eaten. Â My wife loved the fried catfish. Â I also had the turnip greens or collards can never tell which is which but they were perfect. Â Dressing was also very good. Â First time I have ever eaten buffet food that tasted as if it were made fresh and brought to your table. Â Other offerings were deviled crab, baked chicken, Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes. Â Really your typical southern food. Â Desserts were also offered, I saw banana pudding but I was too full from the chicken and dressing. Â Overall one of the best buffets I have ever eaten!
