Came here for brunchy the other day ago. The nice older lady told us to take a seat wherever we wanted. We snagged a booth and she came over to take our drink orders.
We browsed the menu and I picked the short stack w/ 2 poached eggs. Easy, Simple. Hooray! Hubby had a hamburger w/fries, of which I stole a few fries. ;)
My eggs were perfect. My pancakes were HUGE. I mean really a meal in and of itself. Light and fluffy. Perfect texture. Le YUM!
This little joint is quite awesome. Outside seating for the summertime and you can buy postcards and nick knacks up at the front. Overall, a great place to have some breaky. :)
I had brunch here.
The food was classic dinner fare but better than most other places in the area. The prices are also what you would expect from a dinner type place.
The welcome was very warm and the staff very attentive and friendly. Service was fast.
In the summer you have the option of grabbing a table outside under the big fig tree which is very pleasant.
A good and simple stop on the way to or from Yosemite.
Biscuits and gravy were delicious and hot. Real gravy with bits of bacon in it over huge hot buttered biscuits. Exactly what I was hoping for. General feel of the place is casual, local. Old guys talking about what's going on in the world, etc. Our waitress wasn't the most pleasant character, but she didn't detract from our experience.
