We're just passing through the area and looked up pizza on YELP. We chose Gusano's because they serve beer. Gotta have beer with pizza. We're not crazy about Chicago style pizza so we ordered a 16" traditional pizza. OMG. It was fantastic. Keep in mind, Thursday is half off pizza day. What a deal. If their other food is as good and I do believe it is, this place rocks. I would definitely go back.

yum. Â i am typically a new york pizza guy. Â but my pal rob is a native chicagoan (is that right? whatever...). Â anyway....so he makes me come here to get stuffed pizza. Â and i like it. Â i admit. Â i mean, i'd rather be walking down the street in brooklyn with a folded slice in my face and grease running down my arm, but this is a nice change of pace.

This place is more well known for being one of the first "bars" in this dry county than their food. It's the newest Gusano's since their expansion out of the Rivermarket district in downtown Little Rock, and this was a great area for it!
They boast their Chicago Style Pizza, which is not my bag. I'm not a chunky sauce kind of gal. I opt for their thin crust pizza, which will suffice, but never seems to stick in my memory. The atmosphere on a busy night is that of a young college frat house- full of guys in polo shirts & baseball caps and girls in heels & bump-its. Not really my scene. Nice place to grab a bite and a few drinks in an otherwise pretty boring, dry county.
