Fantastic lunch. We had mixed veggie grilled plate, pulled pork plate, and cold cafe con leche. Everything was perfect! We drove down from Marco Island 45 minutes just to have lunch here. Walked a marsh trail on rt 41 saw beautiful birds and a ginormous alligator. Best lunch we've had in ages, the food and outdoor seating is worth the drive. Carlos is an awesome cook and our waitress was great. After lunch a couple locals chatted us up and told us some great island stories. Will return for sure.
Review Source:This place is amazing. Â We stopped in for Colada (Cuban Coffee) -- similar to espresso before our Boat + Kayak tour with Everglades Area Tours. Â We didn't have time for breakfast, so couldn't wait to come back for lunch after the tour. Â When we arrived for lunch, we started with the lobster bisque -- delicioso!!! Â Â Then we had the blackened mahi mahi -- cooked perfectly, so much better than all the over-breaded fish we had at the seafood festival :-) Â It came with black beans and rice -- the rice was good and the black beans were a delight. Â Unfortunately, we arrived right before a motorcycle group showed up, so it was very busy, but, luckily, we found a spot to sit and were still happy with the service. Â My wife ordered the pork, omg -- the meat was super-tender and amazingly flavorful.
