Skip this tiny saloon.  We only went in because it's hooked to the theater next door.  Owner insincerely talked to us but ignored our drink order  because she was training a new bartender.  4 simple drinks took way too long.  Not professional, horrible customer service. Place was filthy with peanut shells littering the floor in a revolting pile.  Gross!
Review Source:Excellent, fun, charming local place to eat and drink. We had a meal here in the off season (October) so we ate in the bar area, since the dining rooms was closed until the season starts up again around Thanksgiving. The décor is fun, authentic and campy with license plates from every conceivable state on the walls. Our waiter was polite, friendly, fast and knowledgeable. The food was very good. We ordered and loved the fried okra and fried pickles (don't know why one was $4 and the other was $11 for the same sized app?). My 3 kids (ages 2,4 and 5) shared the HUGE BBQ sandwich and my husband choose the brisket sandwich. I ordered the flank steak sandwich which was the best item we ordered - a definite winner. Nice wine list and lots of beer on tap rounded out a great evening.
Review Source:Friendly and quick service. Good food. Had the turkey burger and sweet potato fries. Â The burger was super moist (sometimes turkey burgers can be very dry) and the fries very crisp. If you want to sit outside, bring bug spray. They have a few citronella candles, but not near enough if you want to enjoy being next to the river and have a great view. Didn't venture into the saloon, just enjoyed the restaurant.
