Stopped in after an outing to Luna Pier. Nice selection of lunch specials at a reasonable price. Decent variety of food to please everybody. Service was very nice and the portions were giant! I had the salmon and it was cooked perfectly. The hubs had a chicken sandwich that was stacked so high I wasn't sure he was going to be able to bite through it. Overall I'm glad we gave this place a go verses heading downtown. Will for sure stop back when we visit Lake Erie.
Review Source:Ok so I just went there today because I heard they have wifi and beer. This is usually a good combination.
Anyway I don't know what their beer menu is like but their food is definitely good. I think that a lot of their menu is crazy high priced but I suppose if the food is good, it is worth it.
The Cajun menu was probably the most high priced and I like Cajun but decided to pass on it due to being broke lol.
I went ahead and got a burger and mac and cheese. Both were very good. It was ALOT of food! I guess I got my moneys worth.
They also had a live band when I was there. It was pretty good. The place got pretty noisy after a while so I decided to take off but overall, it was pretty good even if it was a little outside my price range.
This is a great place for seafood, grabbing a quick drink, or sitting down to a big meal; or anything in between, really. Â I don't known if it's widely known outside the MI locals, but luckily my parents discovered this while shopping at the nearby outlet mall.
It's conveniently located off exit 11 and if more people in Toledo knew about it, I think they'd make the trip. Â Most of the time when I go I get the prime rib, which is HUGE portions so forget appetizers or desserts, you won't have room. Â This latest time I got the blackened salmon with pinneapple mango sauce, which was great, so no compaints.
Most of the time the service is really good and the waitresses are nice. Â I definitely recommend this to anyone passing through the area.
Friends of ours introduced us to this place. Â We had never been, and found out the old cook at Quatro's is now the cook here when we got the breadsticks we were obsessed from at Quatro's delivered to our table! Â :). Â Anyway, great large menu. Â Food has all been good that I have ordered. Â I had salad the first time (crab cake salad) and the second time I had a tuna melt. Â Both good. Â Service was perfect. Â TVs for games everywhere. Â However, the TVs could be bigger, kinda hard to see. Â Looks like they have a great view during the day of the water, but I am always there at night. Â Highly recommend.
Review Source:The scent of summer's end was in the air, and all of a sudden I had a craving for fish and chips. Since we just happened to be driving by the Monroe Harbor Marina, we stopped in at the Harbor Inn & Ale.
We happened to be the only people when we came in, but I was still shocked when our food arrived piping hot and fresh within ten minutes of sitting down. I'm always a little wary of ordering fish and chips because what I hate over-battered, too-greasy fish. What the waitress served us was PERFECT. It was so good that I wish I could have gone back and eaten it for the first time all over again.
What can I say, I love food.
The place is clean, nicely appointed, and has a good bar selection. I'd like to go back and see what it is like when their live music is going and the place is packed.
I found the place using <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Fbeerfinder.com&s=8dc251c10e7bf0bbf24a016ef5f70eb13d273b32115763be7301818a41e00ee1" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://beerfinder.com</a>. Â Not a huge selection of beers, but what they do have are quality brews.
Food was good, reasonably priced. Â Our waitress was cheerful, service was quick.
If I'm ever in Monroe again, I'd definitely go back.
I enjoyed some lunch here with my wife and friends over Memorial Day weekend this year. Â I found the food to be pretty good, and the service also. Â They had no problem with modifying an item on the menu, and this to me is a good indicator of a place that is interested in customer service.
The building it is a circular building, and it is a very cool design. Â There are photos on the walls from when it was constructed. Â It overlooks the harbor, which makes for a nice setting. Â I would eat there again, and recommend it to others for the atmosphere.
I had an open mind walking in and was actually a bit hungry and thirsty. Â We were going to a wedding reception following, so we were just going to get an appetizer and drinks. Â We ordered the nachos with beef, which I found to be pretty bad, the chips were soaked in oil and too salty, the cheese was straight out of the can...my wife liked them for a bit, but by the time we were half way through, she agreed they were not good. Â
I was happy to see they had two of my favorites on tap, Leini's Summer Shandy and Belle's Oberon. Â The problem to me was I thought the beer was too warm.
Our server was fine, not great. Â She seemed like she was trying to get us to leave.
I would go back and give it another shot, but I'd probably stick to ordering seafood, since that seems to be the specialty from reading the menu.
Great place to meet, NOT to eat. I've been there a few times now and have had pretty good service as far as getting beer goes. But when I recently visited there to have dinner, the service was very slow and the food pretty mediocre. The burger I ordered boasted chipotle mayo, on the menu, but there was none to be found when i got it, and the meat wasn't even seasoned. I also asked for it to be cooked Medium, but it was served to me Well-Done (no pun intended). I tried some of my wifes meal too, (a salmon Burger) and wasn't impressed. I'll probably return there, but just to have have drinks and socialize.
