Until this week I'd never been to a Hardee's. It's another fast food chain, so what makes it different from other fast food chains? Let me start with the burgers. They are a monument to the American philosophy of "bigger is better". The "little" burger is 1/4 pound. That's right, the "little" burger is the size of other places big ones. Don't come hungry.
This may sound weird, but it's details that make a place stick in my mind. When you dine in the ketchup isn't in packets, it's in a pump with little paper cups. The cups were much wider than any I've seen before and that makes it so much easier to swipe a fry through the ketchup. See, little details that make a place stand out.
There are no Hardee's in my home city, but I'll probably stop there while travelling if I see one (and I'm very hungry).
