Hardy's Cafe

Went in there and had a couple of beers and some burgers with some friends. I can say that the atmosphere is great and everyone in there is friendly. Burgers were tasty, way better than other places that I've dined at before. If you have time to stop in Scottsburg, make sure you stop in at Hardys.

Well, they're trying to make changes, but the food falls short. My wife was ok with her bacon cheeseburger platter, but my "spicy chicken" fell way short. It was the frozen variety that you can get at your local grocery in the frozen food section. Not very spicy and overcooked. The pretzel roll it came on was pretty decent and the portions were large. I asked for iced tea and got very weak tea. Service was very good. The place was empty at 1pm in a Sunday afternoon. Maybe that was a clue...

Too bad, this could be a great place if they get their act together.

This is a good place to go for a dressed ch burger & fries. I like the new nonsmoking side. Good for larger groups too.
