Bland beer and very poor service.  The server knew nothing about the beer on tap.  She offered no information, just pointed at a chalkboard and waited for us to pick something.  As for food, we waited & waited & waited for our food.  When we asked about it we were told that "they forgot to do it" (or words very close to these).  We waited & waited & waited even more, still no sign of our order.  We left.  On the way out I told the guy at the door that we ran out of time and couldn't wait anymore, and asked him to relay this to our server.  The words seemed to just bounce off him - all he said was "Uh, OK" - no inquiry about why we had run out of time or what had happened to cause us to leave.  Maybe people leaving without having been served is routine for them.  Anyway, unless you want bad beer and bad service, do not go near this place.

Love this place. Not for the food... that sucks, but for the lively atmosphere, house brewed beers and commonly seen live night music.

They keep a seasonally alternating mix of brews on tap. Nothing too exotic, light lagers and less alcoholic dark beers but still a great value when you can share a microbrew for $9 a pitcher or $3 a glass. Delicious beers can quickly be found.

As can be expected for an E.L. unpretentious dive you can wear anything and feel like you fit in. The dancing here is great. Good amount of room, dimly lit floor and pounding music. Heck it's WAY better than club rush downstairs.

I was once tempted by a half off special to come here for lunch. I was pleased to see they had delicious sounding carbonara pasta. Results were less impressive. The dish was drenched with oil and pasta was completely flaccid. My friends salad was equally uninviting.

Dumb, obnoxious college kids. but i guess thats the type of place this just is. Their home brew beer sucks and im 99% positive i was given the wrong ones. I tried the brown ale and it tasted like it would have been the chocolate porter. then tried the blond and it tasted more like a Belgium. Bathrooms were narsty and lines were long but what else should i expect in a shit college bar lol.

The one thing i have nice to say about the place is that we went on a Wednesday which is apparently half off. the prices made it well worth it but thats about it
