Dining at Hasbeens and Willbees is and experience -- The food, atmosphere, and energy are unique and delicious! As we stepped out of our car on a chilly Sunday night, we were greeted by a man building a fire for outdoor diners, "Welcome." Â Inside the space is intimate. Â The furnishings are intentionally rustic with some bench seating, fur-covered chairs, and antique tables adorned with lovely dried flower arrangements. The server brought us glasses and an oversized flask filled with water...a fun touch (just don't get too wild otherwise that thing is tumbling over!). Â I ordered quinoa cakes drizzled in a cilantro lemon something-or-other served with a sweet potato dip...OFF THE HOOK! It was presented beautifully and tasted divine. Â My friend ordered a mushroom ravioli topped with gorgeous Roma tomatoes...I had a bite...it was delish. Â The table beside us, a 60 ish couple, kept making orgasmic sounds each time they tasted their next course. Â It made me chuckle. Â I licked my silverware clean after my meal like a barbarian! The vibe is chill, the servers are mellow...Nico on the stereo singing "The End" by The Doors. Â I would not recommend Hasbeens and Willbees to your narrow-minded, right wing, nut-ball uncle, but it is quite suitable for bohemians, hipsters, and other creative (and creative-curious) types.
Also, BYO Wine or Beer.
