I was expecting food to be just OK when I came to visit Angola, Indiana. Â I was "forced" to this place for a meeting at the Potawatomi Inn. Â After 3 days, I am now a fan of Angola!
Maybe the places are not fancy as some in big cities but the food was fabulous. Â Because of the name, I ordered the Filet Mignon. Â It was sooooo good, prepared perfectly like I like it... medium rare and it melted in my mouth. Â We started with calamari and stuffed mushrooms. Â Their rolls were fluffy and sweet.
I had a great experience but some of my friends didn't. Â Their medium-well (yeah, yeah... save your comments about how filet mignong should not be ordered medium well for another review) was served medium-rare. Â I think they just mis-understood.
