Arrived around 10pm on a Friday night, the hostess did not seem to want us to be seated in the dinning area and was very insistent on us sitting on the bar. Â We waited about 10 minutes for the waitress to even greet us. Â About another 10 minutes for drinks. Â When we received our food, it was over done. Â The waitress was not friendly. Â It even took us a while to get our check. Â Maybe I'll give this place another shot during the day...
Review Source:I do like this place. Great Beer selection and prices seem on target. We were with a group of about six guys and the waitress played with us and got a cheap beer to mix with orange juice for a "Poor Man's Mamosa".
Wings and food are on par for a sports bar, and they have a "Build a Salad" menu which is the first I've seen in a sports bar. This is the "Sports Bar" I prefer in the Mooresville, NC area.
Great location for lunch and casual dinner. Â It is a bar like restaurants with lots of screens and TVs tuned to every possible sport available on TV. Â Service at this location was normal for sports bar. Â Sweet potato fries were good. Â Wings off appetizer list were bland. Â Nachos served the whole table...and were good. wish i could have eaten more...but they were topped with ground beef. Â Good for those that eat beef...but I would have preferred chicken!!! Â Overrall....OK for sporst bar with food. Â A true tavern!!!
Review Source:The stars are for the varied menu and reasonably good food but I was totally grossed out there today. I had wings and had asked for a moist towel, expecting a little packet. Instead the waitress brought a BAR TOWEL, a rank, spoiled, sour smelling one on which she squeezed a lemon. She offered an apology but that was all... Did not offer to get the manager ... Yuck.
Review Source:I have been to this restaurant a number of times, it's a great place to go and have a beer, their selection is wonderful, and also to watch sports. Â Tons of large screen tv's throughout the restaurant. Â We were going in for their "bucket of trash" which has oysters mussels and crab. Â Due to inferior crab availability this was not an available menu item. Â I appreciated their addressing it right on the menu. Â
My adult son ordered chicken wings for an appetizer. Â The were way way overcooked. Â The flavor of their sauce was fine but the chicken was dry and unappetizing. Â He ordered the Shrimp & Grits as an entree with his side selection of fresh fruit. Â The shrimp was way overcooked. Â But the overall flavor of the dish and portion size was good. Â
I asked about their beer specials and our server didn't know anything about any of them. Â It was obvious she was new. Â She did however bring us the beer menu that was very extensive as well as educational. Â
I ordered their steamed shrimp that came with two sides. Â I selected the sweet potato fries and the fresh fruit. Â I have to say the sides were wonderful, generous portions, the fruit very fresh and the fries cooked well and drizzled with a sweet glaze. Â Truly good sides. Â My shrimp however was way overcooked. Â They were also not cleaned. Â I let our server know and was not offered anything else other than an I'm sorry. Â I asked to speak with the manager, when he strolled over I asked him if they cleaned their shrimp and his response was yes, they wash them. Â Excuse me? Â He didn't have a clue and obviously did not give a dang, he was not professional and certainly came across as not really wanting to be there. Â They took the shrimp off our bill and an additional 10% off everything else. Â But I gotta say, we left there bummed. Â We felt the service was way below par from management. Â Our server was doing her job but didn't have much knowledge about the menu and restaurant offerings. Â
I may go back for a beer during football season but certainly not for dinner again. Â It's a shame, great location, good atmosphere, just employees (kitchen staff included) who come across as not giving a dang.
I've been here 4 times in the past month or so. Every meal me and my friends tried was not only good but awesome. Everyone is friendly, it has a great bar area with a huge selection of beer and alcohol in general and it has over 20 TV's with sports games going.Their is also a large seating area for families, couples going out to enjoy a good time or just hanging out with friends enjoying good food. By far my favorite place to eat in Mooresville/NC. The food is perfectly priced and tastes great. Great spot to stop while your in town, you won't be disappointed.
and Im pretty sure one of the waitresses liked me, she kept coming back to the table and asking how I was and if i needed anything...
