Highway Diner and Bar

Had one of the best Rubens I've had in a long time! House made corned beef was tender and not overly fatty. I like the clean interior design!

Run, don't walk, to this friendly, clean and bright eatery before the hordes of fedora-wearing hipsters descend on it this summer. Seriously, do it now because you won't get anywhere near it in the summer as they serve breakfast all day, have a full bar, including Six Point and 21st Amendment beers in cans, and prices that won't dip into the drinking fund for the evening. Everything I've had there so far has been spot on; fresh, tasty, good portion size. Doesn't hurt that the servers are cute twentysomething locals either. Don't miss out or "I told you so."

Great concept, well needed in the hood. Horrendous service,  mediocre food, horrible acoustics. I have made three attempts at trying to find something  redeeming but Highway Diner has beeen consistently disappointing.
