In recent months Hixton Travel Plaza has done a lot of remodeling. Â Some of them good (new bathrooms) some of them bad (adding more pumps and making parking and driving very confusing and dangerous) Â Hard to bring elderly members of the family to eat at Timber Valley Restaurant because it is hard for them to walk from the new parking area as it is a very long distance from the doors. Â The gas is now also pay at the pump or pre-pay only which can be an inconvenience. Â The biggest problem I have with Hixton Travel Plaza is the congestion of the parking lot and how dangerous it has become with the addition of pumps.
