Convenient, if a little worn. This is not a Holliday Inn, it's holiday lodge, so it is not a part of the chain.
Be aware they have smoking rooms, and lots of them. So, request/book a non smoking. (I'm not really sure smokers would want to live in that deep cigarette stink). The smoking hallway smells very bad.
The non-smoking room was a little dank smelling, but turning up the AC fixed things. There are little fridges, which is nice.
Our room was fine, but the maid had not done much of a cleaning job--there was a stranger looking pair of underwear hanging on the shower curtain. I found that very funny, but others would not. After the first night they did not do a good job cleaning the room.
This is not luxury, it's a good place to stay when you are rafting or other outdoor activities. The bar is a smoky, run down pub with Bud Lite posters. There is a decent indoor hot tub and pool and the gym is not much.
The choices of lodging near the New and Gully River are a bit slim. Â There is the Holliday Lodge, and a Comfort Inn. Â Staying at the Outdoor Adventure camp costs about the same but without a bathroom in your cabin.
