  Great hole In the wall bar.  This is the smallest bar I have ever been to in my life

  We stopped in Holly May's Bar & Grill Easter Sunday around noon on the way home from a weekend in Borrego Springs. They had a really nice buffet set up for the local clientele that had everything from roast prime rib to chile verde to "scotch eggs". All very fresh and set out in small quantities to keep it fresh. We had a couple of ice cold beers ($2 ea), and were treated like old friends by very warm staff who very patiently answered all of our tourista questions about the demise of the Salton Sea. A must stop if you are in the area, we will be back!

  Love this place! The food is fresh plentiful and great value for money! The staff are friendly and service is all you would expect from a larger restaurant.  The Chef (David) owns and runs the place and really knows how to cook! great place to eat if your camping out in the desert or dirt bike/off roading etc.
  I love the breakfast burritos salads and burgers. Also served Sunday is prime rib which i sooo tasty and good value. Very popular with the locals. A bar and pool table is off to the side away from the restaurant which makes it perfect for families.
  The restaurant is easy to find and just off the 86 freeway.

  I stopped in Holly May's Bar & Grill yesterday on the way home from an overnight campout at the Salton Sea State Park.  There were 7 of us on motorcycles and we were treated like royalty.  Gloria our bartender was like the great grandma I never had and the chef / owner prepared the breakfast foods we ate with flawless exectuion.  
  
  This place is out of the way, locals only, and definatley a regular stop for me when I'm in the area.  We had stopped at Carlee's Place on Saturday on our way to the campout and the place was a bit more crowded than I'm used to - I wish we would have kept headed east and hit Holly May's instead.

  Amazing food and freindly people. A hole in the wall that is really clean really cheap and the Chef knows his craft. I had Chicken Marsalla butter herb rice and mix veg it was a 20 on a scale of 10. The dinner salad was fresh and super crispy cold, I want to go back next time im visiting.
